Mediation is an appealing alternative to litigation because the parties have direct control over the outcome and it is a less adversarial process. Through Mediation, the parties can strategize to resolve their issues themselves (or with the assistance of their legal counsel) short of lengthy, costly and adversarial litigation.

Julie is passionate about mediation, and she is dedicated to resolving matters through mediation.  Julie is dedicated to working with the parties to get their matters resolved.

ABOUT JULIE

Julie Weber was an active litigator for 30 years before she started her mediation practice.  After representing clients in hundreds of successful mediations as a litigator, Julie transitioned into the role of mediator. Julie’s mediation practice has focused on employment law and personal injury. She has handled mediations involving  harassment, retaliation, discrimination, wrongful termination, whistleblower, statutory violations, auto accidents, slip and fall injuries and other personal injuries.  She has also mediated matters involving real estate and professional errors and omissions.

With her friendly demeanor to help the parties feel comfortable with the process, Julie's ability to connect with people assists the parties to understand the process.  When the parties feel comfortable and understand the process, they are more inclined to find a resolution.

Since each case has unique allegations, Julie believes that each mediation should be tailored to fit the case. Not every case requires a full day mediation. Therefore, Julie offers a reasonable hourly rate, and the parties can tailor the mediation to their needs. Mediations are offered via zoom or in person.

Julie has completed Pepperdine’s Strauss Institute for Dispute Resolution’s Mediating the Litigated Case.  She received her Juris Doctor in 1988 from Southwestern University School of Law and her Bachelor of Science Degree in 1984 from UCLA.
